It Started Long Before the Name
Long before Zamri existed, there was a small workshop in Chennai. No signboard. No logo. Just a family, a craft, and leather that spoke for itself.
Under the name Mamta Leather, three generations of artisans spent their days hand-selecting hides, pulling thread through needle, and building things meant to last. Not for a season. Not for a trend. For a lifetime.
Most people walked past that workshop without a second glance. The ones who walked in never forgot it.
The Moment Everything Changed
When Mr. Aamir stepped into the family business, he carried something alongside the craft — a question.
Why should exceptional leather only belong to a few?
He had watched his family's work command quiet admiration for decades. The quality was undeniable. The story was real. What was missing was a name that could carry it forward.
Together with his brothers Sameer and Kabeer, he built that name: Zamri.
Not a reinvention. An evolution — rooted in five generations of craftsmanship, designed for the modern man and woman who knows the difference between something made, and something crafted.
